italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Speaking of translations, can anybody advise me on what is
(a) the best FREE Italian-to-English translation programme available (eg
Internet);
(b) the best PAYING Italian-to-English translation software available?
Also (and in parenthesis), why is that ever since Yahoo bought up the
Babelfish site they have left it as pathetically useless as it was when they
first bought it?
And (equally in parenthesis), why have there not been howls of protest
against Yahoo's decision to shut down the Geocities free web-hosting service
that they bought a while ago? Tantamount to a holocaust of the collective
intellect so laboriously seeded and grown on the internet.
