Hi,
I ran DTIFIT and FDT and got the principal vector data file. I'd also like to
perform fiber tracking with DTIStudio. Does anyone know how to change the
vector file format to DTIStudio's custom eigenvector format? First, I convert
the dti_V1.nii.gz to dti_V1.hdr and img Analyze format. Then with the img file,
I tried to combine the three volumes of V1.img (principal eigenvector) to
construct the RGB components of the vector data. With the hdr file, I replace
it manually to the hdr format supported by DTIstudio. However, it seems the
resulting image data looks incorrect in DTIStudio.(the colouring is disorganised
and image looks coarser).
Below is a MATLAB code I tried (the original image data dimension is
128*128*68* x 3 (3 refers to 3 volume of vectors):
mx = zeros(128, 128*3, 68);
for i = 1:128
mx(:,i*3-2, :) = vec(:,i, :, 1);
mx(:,i*3-1, :) = vec(:,i, :, 2);
mx(:,i*3, :) = vec(:,i, :, 3);
end
