Anita
I am no authority, but from what I am aware of youth engagement is growing in popularity in Canada, but is very limited. We have a national centre for excellence in Youth Engagement that continues to evolve. I have not seen much in the way of youth engagement with respect to children with disabilities? There is also a National Centre of Excellence for Children with Special Needs. You can google Centres for Excellence in Canada and these two should come up.
Would be interested in what you find.
