I tried that. It appeared to work. But, it also appeared
to NOT change the variables (in this case, x and y) in the
global state. It is as if the statements in the PROG()
are local to the PROG().
In looking thru the many *.mth files that come with Derive,
I found one line that looked interesting (not a function nor
simple assignment); a vector.
[x := 10, y := SIN(x), DISPLAY ("Hello world")]
