Archivist – British Toy Making project
V&A Museum of Childhood
Salary: £24,659 - £29,640 pa
Three-year, fixed term post until September 2012.
The V&A Museum of Childhood holds a fascinating archive of material relating
to the British toy manufacturing industry. The British Toy Making project,
funded by HLF, will re-house the archive into a dedicated space within the
Museum, then catalogue, conserve and make publicly accessible the holdings.
We are seeking an experienced archivist to organise, catalogue and document
the archive to the highest professional standards. You will have a post-
graduate qualification or equivalent experience in Archives & Records
Management. You will be a self-motivated team-worker with a methodical and
accurate approach in the work of identification and description.
