Archive & Library Trainee
Salary: £14,850 p.a + benefits
Location: London, WC2
Contract Type: Two year fixed-term contract from September 2009
The RSA combines thought leadership with social innovation to further human

The post is only suitable for a graduate wanting relevant experience prior to
applying to study for a professional qualification in Archives and Records
Management or Library and Information Management at postgraduate level.
You will focus on public service duties, a substantial proportion of your time
will be spent supervising the Library and reading room and answering Archive
enquiries from the public, Fellows and staff. However, there will also be
opportunity to participate in records management work, outreach and other
projects.
You will have a degree in any subject, clear communication skills and have
intermediate working knowledge of IT packages. You must be flexible enough
to work without supervision and as part of a small team.
