Several positions (Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate) are available in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard School of Public Health; they involve methodological and applied work in statistical genetics. Examples include developing methodology for population based and family based association tests; methods for gene-gene and gene-environment interaction; methods for whole genome association and sequence analysis . The work will involve both methodological research with department faculty and collaborations with subject matter researchers.
Qualifications are a PhD in statistics or biostatistics with strong programming skills in R, Matlab, or C, as well as good written and oral communication skills.
