Dear All,
We have the pleasure of inviting you to the HEA MSOR Workshop on
Resources for Teaching Statistics which is going to take place at the
Department of Statistics, in the University of Glasgow on the 28th May,
2009 (10am- 4pm).
This workshop is based around four talks which will discuss a variety of
different resources for teaching statistics, including animated
graphics, the use of quizzes, individualised assessment and marking, and
the benefits of students collecting their own data. There will be plenty
of opportunity for participants to experiment in an open access lab
setting with the material being discussed. Participants are welcome to
bring resources of their own, for informal discussion.
