Nice!
Looks like it could be a good example of somewhere you could try out
Google's new 'Rich Snippets' feature.
Basically, if you add a bit of extra code to the reviews HTML - the 'hReview
microformat<http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=146645>'
- and then notify
Google<http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/request.py?contact_type=rich_snippets_feedback>using
a form, and eventually the reviews and 'average rating' may show up in
the Google search results pages. Which, they claim, has been proved to be
useful for users and makes them more likely to click through to your
website.
See
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/05/introducing-rich-snippets.htmlfor
more details. They're also interested in using personal profile
information, using the 'hCard' microformat. There are also RDFa
equivalents. (If this doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry, the format
really isn't that important, its the idea that Google may automatically
extract relevant bits of your webpages to display to users that's signficant
here)
