A CoFHE Mid-West training day in the attractive surroundings of Oxford
Brookes' Harcourt Hill campus, offering you a chance to refresh your
knowledge and skills in managing yourself and others Up, Down & Sideways.
This is a credit-crunch opportunity to attend a course run by top
facilitator Sheila Ritchie. Sheila has had experience in public, academic
and special libraries since 1965, and is now a trainer specialising in
skills which contribute to effective relationships at work.

10.45 Managing myself and others: Motivation and work performance, forming teams
A look at how you perceive and behave towards others at work, and how they
are likely to perceive and behave towards you.
12:30 Lunch (buffet lunch provided)
13:30 Managing on the level: Groups and Teamwork
We will revisit how teams work to understand how to harness the positive and
minimise the negative forces within them, followed by a plenary session.
