Hello everybody,
thanks for your help, Guillaume.
I've got now a mesh in the space of the deformation field obtained
from DARTEL (the u_*.nii).
However, when I transform the tesselation with spm_swarp something
goes wrong as you can see on the figure in attachment (before and
after the DARTEL warp)
Does anyone know what's happening?
regards,
Guillaume

Dear Guillaume,
if you want to do the same kind of plot than in the SPM manual p.303:
http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/doc/manual.pdf
you can have a look at the code in spm_eeg_inv_checkmeshes.m
Both gifti and nifti objects have a .mat field that contains the voxel
to world mapping.
All the best,
Guillaume.

Hi there,
does anyone knows how to plot a nifti volume and a gifti mesh in the
same figure?
I've some trouble with the referential of the gifti file format...
thanks,
Guillaume

is it possible to apply a deformation field from DARTEL to a tesselation
(or a list of coordinates)?
It partly depends on how good your MATLAB coding is. There is a
spm_swarp.m
function that can be used for warping GIFTI surfaces, using the kinds of
y_*.nii files that would be generated by the Deformation utility.
