Dear Ze,
the job input to spm_jobman can be either a MATLAB variable like
matlabbatch or a file name of a script or .mat file. If you want to
concatenate multiple jobs, you can enter a cell list of jobs as well, as
in
spm_jobman('run',{job1variable,'/path/to/job2script.m',...});
Note that you have to convert SPM5 jobs once before you can use them in
this way in SPM8. The batch manager has menu options to do this for a
single job (which is then loaded in the GUI) or to do this for a number
of batch jobs. For each SPM5 job file spm_jobman will create a new SPM8
file.
