Corporate Records Manager
Salary Details: £30,546 - £33,328
Job Term: Permanent
Appointment Type: Full-time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: County Hall, Oxford
Join our Corporate Information Management Unit at a time of major
opportunities and challenges. We are looking for an experienced records
management professional, with a sound understanding of managing electronic
records and the development of information and records management policy
and strategy. Ability to manage and motivate staff is essential as is a
commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities include the provision of a quality records management service,
managing existing physical records stores, and establishing priorities, options
and solutions to further develop the service offered across the council and
manage the transition to electronic records. You will need strong
communication and influencing skills to ensure effective records management
standards and practices are implemented across the organisation.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults,
candidates will be required to undertake a Criminal Record Check. The
possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from
obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature
of the role and information provided.
