Hi Ruth
Yes, it does seem that the term PDP has negative connotations - though charles makes some useful observations. I've been trying to get schools here to define what PDP means for them so that we can at least start to attach identity (embodiment) etc.
We do have a head start though, being Bournemouth University with the logo BU .... : )

Subject: [PDP] Rebranding PDP
Hello everyone
We are undertaking some research at the moment which looks like it might confirm what we suspected which is that the elements of PDP are valued but the acronym has a bad reputation. WE are thinking about relaunching it as something else – but no firm ideas on what or how.
Has anyone else re-named their PDP? Has it worked? Has it made a difference to perceptions? How did you go about deciding what the rebrand would be?
Any ideas, information and / or tips welcome
Best wishes
Ruth
