Message from the MIST mailing list.
Dear colleagues,
As announced in previous emails, we have scheduled a Space Weather
Splinter Meeting during Spring MIST @ NAM. The aim of this meeting is to
brief the UK STP and solar physics communities on several recent
developments in the area of space weather. These show the growing
international awareness of the impact of space weather on the modern
world and that it is important both as a research topic and as an
operational activity.
I enclose below a draft agenda for the splinter meeting. The meeting
will take place at lunch-time (12:30) on Tuesday 21 April and lunch will
be provided (i.e. it's covered by your registration fee). The meeting
location is not yet available. Please check the overall programme when
you arrive in Hatfield.
Best wishes,
Mike
