In principle yes, if I can find a bed for the night afterwards. I would
like a large table, or preferably two, with a bit of wall behind that I
can attach things to, to showcase some of the Funmaths Roadshow. I
could not bring a display board with me. Is that possible? Nice to get
to the lecture if I could be smuggled in.

The Societies are holding an event on 9 June 2009 when Professor Stewart will deliver a lecture and be formally presented with the award. The event will be held at the Science Museum, London from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and we are aiming at making it a high profile affair, with guests invited from government, funders, the STEM community, the business world and the press as well as LMS and IMA members.

So I would like to invite you (or your organisation) to bring either an exhibition stand or send materials to be exhibited at the reception. It will be a good opportunity to raise the profile of your organisation and make contacts. There is no charge for taking part.

However, we will try to accommodate anyone who would like to hear the lecture if seats become available and you would be most welcome to join in the reception.
