OfCom have produced a report called "Report of the Digital
Britain Media Literacy Working Group" at
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/advice/media_literacy/media_lit_digital_britain/
in response to the Department of Culture, Media and
Sport's interim report on "Digital Britain"
http://www.culture.gov.uk/what_we_do/broadcasting/5631.aspx,
that outlined the governments plan to place Britain at the
fore front of the digital economy.
The report sets out a range of strategic options to drive
digital engagement for all sections of society. I was
wondering whether anyone had read it and thought of the
role libraries could play in this vision?
