I agree... I do actually subscribe to our IR's feed, its a nice way to
get a general idea of what people in the other schools get up to wit
their research, and occasionally has lead me to finding out more about
work they are doing and making connections.
I guess thats a very IR-specific usage, and not exactly a big deal.
But then adding an RSS feed for updates to a repository can't take
more than half an hour of coding anyway.
