We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified post-doctoral
researcher for an externally funded research position with the i-lab
research group in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences,
University of Strathclyde (http://www.ilab.cis.strath.ac.uk/index.html).
i-lab is an interdisciplinary research group focused on information
behaviour, retrieval and management.
This is an 18 month fixed term position as part of an AHRC funded
project on decision-making on the web. This project will use
eye-tracking to develop understandings of how people make decisions
about information available on the web. Candidates will have experience
of designing and conducting and analyzing user studies, have experience
of quantitative and qualitative research and excellent inter-personal
skills. Candidates from social science are particularly welcome.
