Dear all,
 
I would like to invite you all to the 10th Hunter Gatherer Discussion Forum meeting at The University of Birmingham on Friday 12th June 2009.  The meeting theme is 'Tides of Change:Impacts of sea level rise upon hunter gatherer societies'.  The confirmed speakers and paper titles are:
 
Jim Learey  (University of Manchester)- Possible perceptions and responses to the Holocene flooding of the North Sea lowlands
Fraser Sturt (University of Southampton)- The Harmonics of change
Clive Waddington (Archaeological Research Services)- A new light on an old problem: the adoption of narrow blade microliths in the British Isles
Simon Fitch (University of Birmingham)- Delving the Depths: New insights into the effects of Landscape change during the Mesolithic.
 
The meeting will be held in the Department of Archaeology, The University of Birmingham. The meeting will take place between 2-5pm.
