Same to you, Pól -- it was a fantastic event, and I think left most or all of us present with a sense of pride in what we do and who we are in UK/Irish German Studies.

Colleagues,
I wouldn't know which circulation list to use, so forgive me for using German Studies, which is likely to reach the parts other lists don't. Can I just say thank you to everyone who contributed to CUTG 2009? With almost 100 delegates and a great atmosphere, as well as a great performance by Dave Robb after dinner on Tuesday and an excellent reading by Volker Braun on Monday, not to mention 30-odd high quality papers, CUTG had a good "final fling" before metamorphosing into the AGS. I hope that everyone got home safely and managed to get a relaxing Easter break.
Best wishes,
.
