1. To send a message to everyone on the list, send an e-mail to:

2. To leave german-studies, send an e-mail to:

with the message:
leave german-studies
as the only text in your message (i.e., make sure you disable any
internet signature).
3. Further commands which can be sent to

include:
set german-studies nomail
(if you are going away, and want to temporarily halt e-mail from the
list);
set german-studies mail
(when you want to start receiving e-mail again);
review german-studies
(to get the names and addresses of other list members);
set german-studies digest
(to get messages from the list as a digest, rather than individually);

(to receive messages normally again);

(to be sent the JISCmail reference card, with more information on
