Dear German Studies colleagues,
I am writing as reviews editor of the JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY EUROPEAN STUDIES, in search of reviewers for a number of books in the context of German Studies in its wider sense.
Recent and forthcoming issues include – as usual – general European studies articles and also focus on the following specific themes:
- The EU and Russia (2/2008)
- Parties of the Far Right (3/2008)
- Memories of Conflict in Eastern Europe (1/2009)
Reviews are usually between 700-1000 words. The next deadlines for reviews are 1st August 2009 (for 3/2009) and 1st December (for 1/2010). From next year, our journal will appear with 4 issues.
If you are interested in reviewing a book of the list below, please contact me directly ([log in to unmask]) and I'll send it to you, with our guidelines and some examples of previous reviews.
Please feel free to pass the list on to interested colleagues.
With many thanks in advance and looking forward to hearing from you,
Martha Wörsching, Loughborough University, [log in to unmask]
