Hi,
I am using the Link Sequential Spin Systems and I have a problem, I have two
peaks in my HSQC fairly close together (but resolved). These two spin
systems are clearly totally different but they have the same CA chemical
shift. In the "Matched Peak Positions" it says "{112} Overlaps:{117}" and
"{117} Overlaps:{112}", from examination the correct answer is clearly {117}
however, if I select {117} then it says "Matching peaks have multiple root
spin systms({112},{117}). Continues and merge together?". The only option
here is to merge them and then both peaks become {117}.
The two strips it shows in the target window for {112} and {117} are both
identical and are midway between the two genuine peaks as if it is showing
the average of these peak positions.
If I manually move the CA shift of {112} away from that of {117} then it
allows me to assign {117} correctly so I wonder if it is only an issue
because the two peaks are within some tolerance setting and also have the
same CA? Or alternatively I have somehow managed to interlink these two spin
systems?
Anyway its not an urgent problem as I can work round it by temporarily
shifting the CA of one of the peaks whilst I set the correct sequential link
but it is unusual behaviour.
Cheers
Ben
