Hello all,
I'm pretty ignorant about poetry, but that doesn't stop me looking
around.
I came across an electronic music anthology recently that included
music composed by Luigi Russolo in 1913, an Italian futurist. I've got
a copy of Bohn's volume of translations of Italian futurist poetry.
I'm aware of the politic mistakes of those futurists, mistakes that I
worry could repeat in these times.
What I'd like to know, though, is what other visual (etc.) poetries,
preferably with originals or translations in English, contemporary or
otherwise, should I look out for? Can people recommend anthologies for
me to seek?
Oh, I'll mention that I'm aware of Bob Cobbing, and have some
recordings of wonderful performances (thanks to ubu).
