Hi everyone,
Am new to what looks like a great site for archive information so forgive me if
as I suspect this question gets asked alot! Basically I looking for any help or
advice I can get in regards to furthering my career in archiving.
I am 30 and have been working in a document management/archive role for
the last 4 years (last 2 years in a team leader role) for a human resource
consultancy company. However my real passion for archiving is within
historical archives. I have a degree in Ancient History which really influenced
me to want to work in archives and with historical documents. I understand a
post graduate degree is the usual route, but I was wondering if there are
other ways or routes that can be taken?
Any help would be greatly appricated
