A joint meeting between the Lancashire local RSS group and the Young
Statisticians Section of the RSS will be held at Lancaster University on
Thursday 28th May, starting at 2pm.
The speakers will be Duncan Lee (University of Glasgow), Larissa
Stanberry (University of Bristol) and Chris Jewell (Universities of
Lancaster and Warwick). Topics will be varied - on air pollution and
human health, random sets and oriented distance functions and Bayesian
risk-prediction for epidemics.
