The Film programme within the School of Arts invites applications from
suitably qualified candidates for a fractional (0.4FTE) 10-month fixed
term lectureship to complement the well-established Film team
effective 1st September 2009. This is to cover the teaching of a
member of the Film team who will be working on a research project
overseas in 2009-10. The successful candidate will have research
expertise and the ability to teach across all years of the
undergraduate Film programme in the areas of film history, film
aesthetics, and film theory. A completed or nearly-completed PhD in
film studies is essential.
