Our vibrant, modern University has ambitious plans for its future. Our
two main campuses in Cambridge and Chelmsford are being transformed

Operating on both our Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses, our Computing
and Technology Department offers a wide range of pathways related to
Technology, Computer Science, Design, Engineering and Multimedia
Computing. We maintain close links with the electronics, software,
automotive and creative industries and our pathways offer excellent
employment prospects for our graduates. The department has a strong
research base, with 5 recognised research groups and 40 registered
research students.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a new
curriculum. It is anticipated that you will supervise research
students and through collaboration and consultancy with industry,
generate external funding.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and growing
department. We are seeking candidates with industrial and/or academic
experience in at least one of the following media technology and
computing areas: image manipulation, video production, 3D
graphics/design, C++ programming, computer game development,
animation, computer forensics, internet technology or web design. With
a higher degree, preferably a PhD, you will also be research active.
