I think the first one will probably simpler, as you'll also presumably
need to have separate experiment software spaces and published tags for
the two architectures...

I guess it wasn't a big enough one, as I don't recall being asked and
I've had a pile of 32-bit SL5 machines here gathering dust since last May :(
Hardly worth worrying about now though.
