Call for Papers: Galician Studies Panel, AHGBI Annual Conference:

London 12-14th April 2010

Dear Galicianists,

Proposals for papers are welcomed for inclusion in the Galician Studies panel at the annual
conference of the Association of Hispanists of Great Britain and Ireland, to be held at King's
College London 12-14th April 2010.

After our fourth consecutive and highly succesful Galician Studies panel at the recent AHGBI
conference in Belfast, I would like to warmly invite all of you to consider taking part in the
fifth-anniversary edition next year in London!

Papers should be 25-30 minutes in length, on any area of research relating to Galician Studies.
Those wishing to participate should send abstracts of 150-200 words to me in my capacity as panel
convenor by August 15th 2009, in order that I may organise these into an appropriate panel or panels
for the consideration of the AHGBI Conference Secretary by 5th September 2009. Papers should be in
English, Galician or Castilian.

If you are not a member of the AHGBI but would like to participate, you should contact me to
express an interest in attending and so that I may discuss the issue with the conference
organisation. Non-members have participated in past Galician Studies panels. Some money may be
available to help cover costs of an invited speaker.

Full details of the conference are available on the AHGBI website: http://www.dur.ac.uk/hispanists

Please send enquiries regarding the Galician Studies panel, or abstracts for consideration, to me
at: [log in to unmask]

I look forward to hearing from you

relacionada cos Estudos Galegos.

AHGBI: http://www.dur.ac.uk/hispanists
