Dear Starlink gurus,
I'm working with the JCMT/ACSIS data, specifically raster maps, and I'm
trying to decompose the cube into individual spectra and further convert
each ndf spectrum into an ascii file which is essential for my further
analysis. The first part I've done (using ndfcopy), but I have a couple of
questions regarding ndf2ascii conversion.
1) Is it possible to write out the frequency axis as well (not only the
brightness temperature) or will I have to add that manually?
2) The ascii files do not contain one single column. Instead, the output
values are written as an array (please see the attached file). The command I
used was simply:
ndf2ascii spec_${i}_${j}.sdf spec_${i}_${j}.dat
Any suggestions on how to format this in a proper way are more than welcome.
All the best,
Marija
