Embedding Dialogue and Debate
Evaluator wanted for exciting new project!
Embedding Dialogue and Debate is a two year project supported by the Wellcome Trust. Embedding Dialogue & Debate aims to embed dialogue about science within the culture of science & discovery centres. The project will support the professional development of facilitators to confidently deliver activities with visitors through the development and delivery of four Facilitator Academies. The project is lead by At-Bristol, working in close collaboration with Ecsite-uk and skilled practitioners across the sector.
Embedding Dialogue and Debate has a number of evaluation strands, one of which we would like to recruit an external evaluator for. The evaluator will be responsible for:

Reporting on project evaluation
We are seeking to work with an evaluator who has:
experience of evaluating public and schools engagement activities in a science centre environment
experience of supporting professional development of science communicators
experience of evaluation of dialogue and debate style activities
willingness to travel to venues across the UK for some evaluation and able to attend project team meetings in venues across the UK when appropriate
an understanding of the needs and culture within science and discovery centres.
