Hi Michael,
Here at the ESRC we have a guide available for download entitled
'Working with the media: a best practice guide' which we're happy for
you to link to.
http://www.esrcsocietytoday.ac.uk/ESRCInfoCentre/about/CI/CP/media/
Please let me know if you include them on your website!
Thanks

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Advice to scientists who want to work with the media
After recent discussions on how researchers can delve into PESTery, I
decided to bring together some of the material that I use when talking
to young researchers about working with the media.
Where possible I like to point them at sources that might be appropriate
for their domain, so I have created a page on the ABSW web site with
links to the handful of guides to "working with the media" that I know
of.
http://www.absw.org.uk/media_guides.htm
Not many so far, BBSRC, Sense About Science and the Social Issues
Research Centre.
If you know of any other material on this front, I would be happy to
include a link.
While I am at it, I would also like to build up a page with links to
opportunities in media training. I know that the BPS and BBSRC are
active on this front. Anyone else?
