I've just seen this - and the comments - and must say I respond to it very
positively as an example of the art of suggestion, spare & haunting. The
"shrink" aspect didn't occur to me, but it makes sense; I thought more of a
guru-disciple situation, but of course the polyvalent suggestiveness is part
of the poem's power.
I even liked the line about Friday as an intro ;-)
