This has been fascinating, when I could take time away from work to
look at you all carrying on. Here in Canada, especially Alberta, we
have a pretty good system, which is much cheaper overall than that in
the US, but it is expensive, our politicians tell us, & there are long
wait lists, so of course, a Private/Public system would be Much Better!
Under the influence of US insurance companies, our government(s) keep
trying to convince the majority of us that this would be a Good Idea,
but we keep saying No, we like it this way, so a slow choking of the
system is the best they can do to get us to go along. It's slowly
working I'm afraid.
But you're right Mark, it feels a lot less anxious to think that the
system is there for everyone, when each of us might need it. We live
in hope....
