Staff from JISCmail and Procureweb have been working together and are
pleased to offer access to ‘Procureweb’ from the JISCmail Tools area of all
list homepages from 31/03/09. Procureweb is a JISC procurement support
service, for the UK Higher Education Sector, UK Further Education Sector and
Research Councils. Based at Cardiff University, Procureweb provides tools,
information and support to anyone who participates in the procurement process.

Services provided include the sectors' central contract database (CuPID); a
free tendering provision, (www.tenders.ac.uk); a free 'electronic billboard'
(Xchange); procurement related web site hosting; tools and electronic
systems development; website design; forums; documentation; and links to
relevant resources. 

Procureweb recognises that procurement in the HE Sector is a key strategic
function, for improving the quality and efficiency of education and research.
Procureweb aims to provide world-leading quality support, and electronic
systems to facilitate procurement in education and research.
