I am annoyed that te BBC news is saying that 'scores' of patients were
harmed. The report suggests at least 400 died, some estimates say 1200
harmed.
Since when was the phrase scores used for 20-60 score.
Hundreds or over a thousancd would be better.

How appalling that the culture of the NHS has been so undermined and
so systematically degraded that this disaster has occurred.
Would a criminal investigation be appropriate? If a doc causes death
by misadventure or negligence then a manslaughter charge would surely
follow. If a manager's policies and procedures result in harm leading
to death, which seems to be what has happened here, surely the same
legal principles should apply?
