The Department of German Studies at Nottingham University invites applications for ONE PhD and ONE MA AHRC studentship. As part of one of the country's leading schools in modern languages and cultures, we offer an exciting range of research opportunities and taught postgraduate courses (research preparation masters), including areas such as German literature and culture (from the 18th century to today), film and media studies, German history and politics, linguistics, medieval literature, German postcolonial studies, cultures of memory, Anglo-German relations, and others.
