Other rocks of interest come from a small breccia pipe in the Daniels
Range, northern Victoria Land, Antarctica. Individual thin sections
contain the following: 1. gt-bt-anthophyllite-Opx-pl. 2.
gt-opx-pl-cordierite-qz-spinel. 3. qz (clasts) in
chorite-mu-cordierite-pl-sillimanite. 4.
cordierite-pl-anthophyllite-sillimanite. We feel that The rocks
seem to indicate granulite facies affinities, with partial
retrogression under amphibolit facies conditions.
These are reported in: Babcock, R.S., C.C. Plummer, J.W. Sheraton,
and C.J. Adams (1986) Geology of the Daniels Range, North Victoria
Land, Antarctica, p. 1-24; in E. Stump (ed.) Geological
Investigations in northern Victoria Land, Ameican Geophysical Union,
