Dear Colleagues,
The nomination deadline is fast approaching for the Sociology of Health and Illness Book of the Year. Nominations and three copies of the nominated book must be received in the BSA office by Tuesday the 31st of March 2009.
The prize of £1,000 is awarded annually at the BSA Medical Sociology Group Annual Conference <http://www.britsoc.co.uk/events/medsoc.htm> to the author(s) or editor(s) of the book making the most significant contribution to medical sociology / sociology of health and illness and having been published over the three years preceding the 1st January of the year in which the award is made, ie: January 2006 to December 2008 for the 2009 prize.
