Data Protection & Freedom of Information Officer
Target Salary: £29,958 - £33,714 pa with potential future progression based
on performance up to £42,603 pa

A new position has arisen within the Corporate Data Protection/Freedom of
Information Team. The appointee will play a key role in ensuring the Council
meets its statutory obligations and delivering best practice standards on data
handling. Much of what the team does involves providing support services to
staff as well as enabling members of the public to exercise their information
rights.
Westminster City Council is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking and
innovative new member of staff, who is equally comfortable working on their
own as well as within a team. You will have a recognised degree or equivalent,
and experience of working in Information Management and Data
Protection/Freedom of Information.
