Further to the email below, I have had some problems with the wiki. The
new address for details about the seminar on the 7th and 8th of
September 2009 are at:

Subject: 6th Cycling and Society research Group Seminar Monday 7th and
Tuesday 8th September 2009
Dear all,
Thank you for the feedback on the dates of the 6th Cycling and Society
Research Group Seminar dates to be held on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th
September 2009. I had not realised there had been discussions about the
ordering of the days at previous events and have reverted to the usual
custom of having the seminar on the first day with business matters
being dealt with on the second day. Thank you for your feedback on that.
I have established a wiki page
(http://data.bolton.ac.uk/staff/jp10/pmwiki.php?n=Main.HomePage) to help
me run the seminar. It currently says the following:
---------------------
These pages have been established by John Parkin to coordinate the 6th
Cycling and Society Research Group Symposium to be held at the
University of Bolton on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September 2009.
A research seminar (papers and discussion sessions) is to be held on
Monday 7th September 2009. The timings and structure for the day will be
decided based on the number of papers to be presented. In order to
present a paper, please email an abstract of no longer than 300 words to
John Parkin ([log in to unmask]) by 31st July 2009. You will receive
confirmation about whether or not you have been selected to present on
21st August 2009. The programme for the day will start at 10.30am and
finish no later than 6 pm and will appear on this page in due course.
There will be a business meeting for CSRG university members on the
morning of Tuesday 8th September 2009 commencing at 9.30am and finishing
not later than 12 noon.
-------------------
I look forward to receiving abstracts in due course. I think there are
some of you out there who have already volunteered to help me review the
abstracts. Could you please confirm who you think you are to me.
I would welcome attempts from those more skilled than I am to help me
develop the wiki page to the extent that it is ergonomically optimal for
the user.
