I don't think the eBook readers have remotes => difficult to get switch
access.
As an alternative how about a mini notebook? Approx. same price as an eBook
reader.
The eBooks from e.g. Waterstones are PDF and EPUB, and you read the PDF ones
with Adobe Digital Editions. It's pretty rubbish in terms of accessibility
(i.e. you can't change font or background colour; limited font sizes; no
speech; etc) but if you program the switch interface to generate Page
Up/Down or Cursor Left/Right, you can turn the pages.

Doesn't seem to be - I can't find one with a remote either...
http://www.frequencycast.co.uk/ebookreaders.html concurs. Happy to be wrong
though!
Hopefully more flexible platforms/hardware will emerge in this quite young
field. Apparently flexible readers are on the verge and I think (as a
display technology) they have massive potential for AT and AAC (maybe,
eventually!)...

We have a patient who wishes to purchase a reader. He has looked at the
Sony's Reader and iRex iLiad on the web. He uses a single switch for his
environmental control system.
Has anybody setup control of a reader with single or dual external
switches?
