Join Archives for London and Mark Prescott, head of cultural campaigns at the Greater London Authority, as he introduces the Story of London - a brand new month-long festival in June 2009 reaching across London to celebrate the Capital's past, present and future.
The Story of London will promote access and participation with London's varied cultural experiences to Londoners and visitors alike, through 25 core projects and a wide range of activities and events bringing together history, architecture, art, music, theatre, food, film and fashion.
The Capital's fascinating heritage and history - and the archives that unlock its stories - are key to London's culture and Mark will explain how they form an important part of the festival. Mark will further explore how people and organisations taking part in the Story of London will benefit from new collaborations.
The deadline for partners' activity proposals is 31 March so join us for a timely invitation to find out more and get involved.
