The Information Compliance Manager will be responsible for reducing any data
security risk which we may be running, by developing appropriate policies and
procedures, in conjunction with the House of Commons, and delivery training
as appropriate. This new post will provide additional support and advice to the
House in answering FOIA, DPA and EIR enquiries.
You will have substantial hands-on experience of managing information
compliance requests and enquiries and expert knowledge of relevant
legislation; experience of managing data security and information risk
mitigation activities; experience of implementing new policies and procedures in
a complex organisation and of designing and delivering training. You must also
have tact and discretion, the ability to work effectively in a high pressure
environment, plus excellent communication, team-working and influencing
skills.
The job is offered initially on a three-year fixed term contract, but with the
possibility of extension or permanency. Benefits include membership of a
