Four 1+3 year MRC-funded Masters and PhD studentships in Mathematical and Statistical Research applied to medicine and health are available at the University of Leeds, two from September 2009 and two from September 2010

These studentships include the possibility of studying for a PhD following an MSc in Statistical Epidemiology. The MSc will provide training in advanced statistical and epidemiological techniques, and also allow options in molecular epidemiology, genetic epidemiology and health-services research.
