Structural and functional studies of a proton pump and membrane transporters
A post-doc position is available in the membrane protein structural biology group at the
Department of Molecular Biology/Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The
aim of the research is to understand the structure and functions of integral membrane
proteins.
The successful candidate will be involved in both crystallographic and biochemical studies
of the target proteins. Frequent short trips to Grenoble, France for data collection would
be necessary. The lab is situated at the Biomedical Center (BMC) in Uppsala, Sweden.
The applicant should hold a PhD and have a strong background in protein chemistry,
preferably x-ray crystallography. Experience with membrane proteins is a great
