I have a Big Problem with this. It's a marmite issue - some love
engagement, some hate it. Much like most people I guess.
Unfortunately, the attitude of the supervisor can rub off on their students.
I have managed to get a requirement for engagement added to everyone's
job description, but this is unenforceable, which isn't a bad thing.
I hope this email makes sense. I'm suffering from Science Week Brain. :-)
