Dear All
The Institute of Physics is holding a series of workshops for physicists
interested in running their own physics outreach activities. The next in
the series is being held in Bristol this Thursday (2 April) and there are
still some places available.
The workshop was previously open only to Institute members, but we are now
able to offer places to anyone interested in physics outreach. The workshop
is free, but participants will pay their own travel expenses.
Workshop details:
2 April 2009: Doing More Outreach (Physics Dept, University of Bristol, Bristol)
An opportunity for physicists with some experience of taking part in public
engagement outreach activities to work with others to develop their own
events and gain skills related to applying for funding.
